AND SHE’S DRIVING ME NUTS! Sort of.
She’s such an active girl and she wants to play, be in your lap, grab a toy, check out the noise that the refrigerator makes, etc. She’s tried to get Nino to mate with her but my poor boy was neutered years ago and doesn’t quite know what the heck to do….. But I’m glad she’s home.

Ok, some of you may have noticed (or not) that Bobby is in the process of turning over the blog to me. I am still learning, so please be gentle. If you can’t, send me a note with suggestions and I’ll try to implement them. Anyway, we have co-bred our second litter, the "C" litter, with Sandy Bakewell, of Allee Sablee Malinois and we are very excited!
Sire is CH No-How So Far Away "Bond", 2008 AOM winner, and the dam is AKC/UKC CH Tango with Balderlo du Baiser Orageux, TT, "Tami". We expect lovely puppies, suitable for performance and conformation events. Inquiries welcome…
My little Tammy is coming home. We are actually in the car, coming down I95 as I type.
Fingers are crossed that she is pregnant with some puppies.

Tonight we ate out at a new place in Old Towne Petersburg (VA) at a British Pub-type place called Brickhouse Run. I got a Black & Tan, Halibut with Leek Sauce, and Bobby had a house tap and crab cakes. But the highlight was the berry shortcake dessert, which consisted of blueberries, raspberries and a light cake with NO sugar and just the right amount of whipped cream! Delicious! Oh, and the best part? I got a call from my sister who is dealing with Stage IV cervical cancer; she is (for now) officially cancer free! She doesn’t have to go back to the doctor until December!! ~Happy Dance~

Socks was the sire of our Asia, and our Thai. He was a good boy, always waggy-tailed and happy to see me when I visited him. He is one of the reasons we are in this breed, and he will be dearly missed. Sandy owned him and loved him and trained him.
One of the draws of the iPhone was the ability to blog using it. With either a wi-to connection or using a cell signal I can either post directly or update Twitter or add pics with the camera phone.
We took a visit to Sandy Bakewell, Allee Sablee Malinois [ http://alleesablee.com ]. We brought Asia with us and had a reunion of sorts with daddy Socks and sister Sophie. Of course, pictures were taken of the brood.

We brought the balance of a litter into Malinois Rescue { http://www.malinoisrescue.org } on Friday. They are currently staying down the road from us a friend’s kennel, Cedar Creek Kennels in Petersburg/Prince George.
Saturday morning, we spent some time with the pups. They proved to be very active and very outgoing. Brenda, the kennel owner, had her employee, her daughter, her grand-daughter, the grand-daughter’s friend, and us over. The pups ran from person to person, soliciting love and attention.
I went a little nuts with the pics but you can’t help but photograph the “puppettes”.
